The ATRA certification program is a complete educational curriculum. It not only includes all the courses, study guides, and tests necessary to complete the certifications, it's also filled with all the background information you need to take your place as a leader in the automatic transmission repair industry.

ATRA certifications are available exclusively to ATRA Members.

Choose the certification you'd like to earn first, and select a course that applies to that certification. Not all courses apply to each certification and several cross over from one certification to the next.
Use the study guide to prepare for the certification test. Once you’ve passed the test, move on to the next course and study guide, until you've earned your certification.
Each certification consists of multiple individual courses: the Diagnostician Certification requires passing eight courses, the Rebuilder Certification requires four courses, and the Chassis Certification requires five courses. If you choose to earn your Master Certification and have passed all 11 individual tests, you're ready to climb to the pinnacle of the industry by taking the final master's course and test.
